I was reading Matthew, chapter 5, and at the very end of that scripture it read, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." I couldn' help wondering what this really meant and how could a wretch like me even think that this could have been or even be an oppportunity for me. especially now after all these years of sin and redemption and sin again.

In my human attempt to do what my Father is requiring of me to the best of my ability and understanding of His instruction, What does this particular verse mean? I am realistic in knowning that I am not and will never be perfect on this earth and there is a difference between righteousness and perfection. Still i am need of guidance please?
