Welcome again to this week's word for the week. From time to time the word for the week is not necessarily about something to tell you as much as it is something for you to search within yourself. This week is one of the weeks so let's get straight to the point. What are the things you need to deal with or face? This could even be things that God has told you to do that you haven't done. The reason could be a multitude of things and all of the things may not be in your control. That's fine. You just need to know what they all are first and foremost.
Now, the next point is what are the things on that list that you can control? Spoiler alert, they are not things that take a bunch of time to think about. The truth is you already know them without giving that question much thought. The problem is not in what we know. The problem is in what are we willing to do? What are you willing to do about the things that you can control? Those things that you have no excuse for are probably some of the ones that have lingered around the longest.
There's a point here this week though. As much as you may think those things have no effect on your at the moment that is actually incorrect. They affect you far more than you realize. Your walk with the Lord is a series of building blocks. Everything is important because it can either point out what you need to do or what you need to let go of. There are things that more than likely do not feel good. There are things that you just flat out wish they would go away over time. But, there are things that are necessary for your growth and that changes the dynamics of everything. At the end of the day, it really does matter what you do or do not do.
So that takes us back to our point this week. Have a be honest with you and Jesus moment. After all, He already knows where you're doing well and where you need to get it together. There are many who are reading this and deep down you want to be found to right with the Lord. That part really does matter to you. The question is are you willing to come face to face with those issues? Are you willing to really let God have His way in those areas in your life? It is not as difficult as it sounds. You just need to let God take the wheel on this and lead and guide you. You've driven a long time in the direction you want to go. Now it's time to drive in the direction God wants you to go. Give that some thought this week.
May the Lord continue to bless and keep you in His grace,
