We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. The phrase I've heard the most on this Pastoral journey has been "if you see anything wrong in me tell me the truth" and it's not even close to anything else I've heard. While many people may say that, I have discovered it's not always accepted when you do so. Now if anyone knows me then they also know my favorite phrase is "I love you enough to tell you the truth" so you can imagine how that goes at times. No worries as they always get past their feelings but it is an important point for us to discuss this week.

The first thing is the fact that honestly no one really needs to tell you the truth if they see something in you that's wrong. We are all ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. As we continue to move forward this year it is truly an exciting time. Like a lot of churches, we are seeing more people begin to return. As you grow you will realize that the easiest time was when you first got started. That was the time when you simply thought about things and they just worked out. Now, you will have to pray, believe, wait, and pray some more. There's hope though!

You will have to remind yourself of what God has already spoken. Rather that is something He spoke directly to your spirit or something that is written in His word. You are going to have really keep saying &...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. A few weeks ago I told you that we would be turning the corner here and dealing with things that affect people who want to grow in God. Yes, you read that right. You have to want to grow or many things about God and His word will not make any sense at all. One of the things you have to learn how to do as part of your growth is make God the focal point in your life. Now when you hear that you may say that He already is so let's go further this week.

If you say that God is your focal point  in your life then there is only one question to ask you. How much of a focus is He to you? Anyone can say that comes first in their life but does He? If you were heading out the door to ...
