Welcome again to this week's word for the week. We're going to shift gears for a moment this week and deal with a question. What have you been doing with the time God gave you? No, it's not a trick question but it does require a lot of thought. At one point Jesus was teaching on who would not get into the kingdom of God. He told them some would hear to depart from Him because He never knew them. This was after they had a list of some of the things that they had done which they thought were good. So what happened?
In life it is easy to be busy doing nothing. By that I mean, you are doing things but they are not things that make a difference. Again, these people had a list of things they had done but none of what they did counted...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. One of the favorite lines you've heard in church at some point in your life was to tell God all about it. I have heard that phrase be used countless times over the years. Sometimes, you look back over life and you wonder what some of the things you have heard really mean. Let's go a bit further this week and it won't take long.
The tough question that needs to be asked is what would you do if Jesus came and sat down right next to you to have a conversation? What would you really tell Him at that moment? Welcome again to this week's word for the week. As you can tell by reading these words for the week I am trying to stick to the encouragement aspect of our walk with Christ. Nothing is changing this week so don't panic. I do need to say something that is seriously important. What do you really want out of all of this? Please do not answer according to what sounds correct. What do you really want from your walk with Christ? What is the most important part for you on a personal level?
When I gave my life to Christ there was so much I simply did not know. Looking back over the years I now realize it was probably one of the best things that could've happened to me. I grew up in church and Sunday school but I was not saved. When I ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, last week we were talking about your mind. This week of course there's another challenge. Have you ever wondered why the enemy attacks "you" so much? There are countless people in this world and yet it can feel like he's always against you. Your question is why. What if I told you it's because the enemy knows what it is that God has in store for you and he is fighting you with everything he has to stop that plan? Well, that is the very reason to be honest.
Give this some thought this week about Job. He was an upright man, he feared God, and he eshewed evil. In other words, Job did things God's way as best as he could. When God asked the devil had he ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Are you ready to turn your life around? Are you truly ready for all of the things the Lord has in store for you? Are you tired of feeling like you are on the losing end when you know you should be walking in victory? Are you ready to cut ties with things that are nothing more than weights that are constantly holding you down? Are you finally ready to be free in Christ and to really experience His glory? If so, then this word for the week is for you and it will not take long.
In the most plain way I can say it, if you plan on having all of those things I just mentioned above then you are going to have to do a few things. This week we are simply going to talk about one. You are going to ...
