We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. What I am going to say this week does not take long to say. However, it is something you should always remember in everything you do. In other words, as simple as this may be make sure you never forget it. The hardest part of anything you will ever do is getting started. That's right, getting started is always the most difficult part of any journey. You want to know where you're going, how you're going to get there, and how long will it take.

These are not unusual questions. The truth is there are many times when it is more than appropriate for you to ask these questions. Then, there will be times when you will have to simply trust the Lord in all you do and follow His leading...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. How far does God want to take you this year? What are some of the things He wants to do in your life this year? What are some of the things you need to begin? What are some of the things you need to let go of? Here's a bigger question for you to be honest about. Do you even know the answer to any of these questions? Have you taken time to even pray this year and see what God's plan is for your life?

A new year's resolution is something you come up with. Those are your own ideas and goals. It does not mean that those ideas and goals come from God. Rather we want to admit it or not, they are usually our own thoughts. This is in spite of the fact that we say we seek God and...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Are you still excited for the New Year? Yes, this has been quite the week if you live in the United States. As if 2020 was not a year would never forget, we now have January 6, 2021 to add to that list. Regardless to how you feel about it, the reality is that we need to pray even more as Christians. There is a lot of anxiety about the state of our nation as a whole but I would like to offer everyone a word of encouragement in what is otherwise a frustrating time.

Keep your eyes on the prize which is God. Rather things are going good or bad we must remember that we need Him at all times. The things that God wants to do in our lives has not changed. Our need to pray has not diminished in a ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well the new year is finally here. The first thing we all should do is to be thankful to the Lord for allowing us to see a new year. It is truly a milestone as the years go by in life and it is one we should always honor God for. While the excitement is everywhere at the moment there will be a battle in order to keep that excitement. Rather we like or not, real life does not stop for any of us. The problems you had last in 2020 do not simply disappear just because it's a new year. You still have to fight.

That brings us to an important thing that we should always start the new year off with. It is called prayer. So many people go about making their own plans and then wonder why they ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, we are officially at the last word for the week for 2020. The time has truly gone by fast in some ways and in other ways it has been a long year. Nevertheless, the Lord is still in control of all things we experience in life. We have covered a lot of ground in many areas this year and I am truly grateful to God for that. With that in mind, let's get straight to the point this week.

One of the things that is necessary is for us to never forget the Lord. One command you constantly see after Israel was delivered from Egypt was that they were never to forget what the Lord did for them. They were instructed to hold numerous celebrations to reflect those moments and they were told to ...
