Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There is a word called expectation. It's not a difficult word in meaning. It simply means the act or state of expecting. In other words, it means to look forward to something. The definition is simple but there's a process behind it and a part you play. You can have little expectation or great expectation. The choice is truly yours.
Things do not simply happen because you hope they do. You must be persistent in your prayers. You cannot afford to waver and be up and down about what you're praying for. This is not the season for half-way. This is the season to be all in. Anything less and you may as well leave it alone. I cannot be any more honest than that. Desperate times call...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. This week I was led to talk about a topic that at times seems uncomfortable in church but is something that is very much needed. This week we will talk about mental health. Don't check out just yet. This is actually encouraging for many of you and if not for you then for someone you know. It is not a stigma or something bad. It is a real byproduct of the many things that are going on in this world at the same time. When you add your own personal issues in the mix then you already know it's a challenge. Oftentimes. we end up wasting valuable time trying to figure out something we may never have an answer to. This won't be long so let's go further.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Pray. That's the word for this week. Pray. Sounds simple? Pray. Every time you think of what's going on in your life this week pray. When you're up, pray. When you're down, pray. When you feel great, pray. When you feel weary, pray. It's a simple word but it's powerful. It brings life, strength, healing, comfort, joy, and multitude of other things that only God can give you. Pray.
Let's face a new reality in the times we're now living in. No longer can we sit and wait for things to happen before we pray. We need to be praying before they happen. God equips us with the ability to pray. It's up to us to use it. It's not difficult. It's a matter of...
