We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. So much about how far we go with Christ is dependent upon our inner man. In the natural sense, if we want to plant a garden of collard greens we need to take all of the necessary steps in order for that to happen. If one decides to plant squash they would have to do things a bit differently in order to reap that harvest. Your spiritual walk with Christ is no different. You reap what you sow, period. If you plan on going far with Christ you are going to have to adapt to the changes that are necessary depending on what you are trying to do.

This is actually an obvious thing in life but the enemy is clever enough to cause some people to overlook the severity of the consequences. God is not ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. This week we can turn the corners a bit if you will. The last few weeks we have been talking about the need to just look in the mirror and get some things together in our lives. If we plan on winning this race then we need to be honest about the baggage that's slowing us down. Let's face it, the lighter the load the faster and further we can go. Let's go a little further this week.

One of the benefits of spring cleaning around the house is the fact that we can take the time to get rid of some things that are taking up space but are not needed. It's the time when one does an honesty check and decides that it is time to let some things go. It is not a bad time although it ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There are some things in the bible that can make us do cartwheels. There are other things in that same bible that can make us drop our heads in shame. It's all the same bible and one of the things we must realize when we read it is that has encouragement and warning in the same book. Oftentimes in the bible there are passages of scripture which encourage and warn us at the same time. It's all a matter of how we choose to view it. The key is choose because it's a choice. So, let's take a look this week at Hebrews 10:26-27.

This is quoted directly from the Amplified Bible: 26: For if we go on willfully and deliberately sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Ok, I have asked this question before but from a different perspective than what I am going to ask it from right now. The enemy does not use anything new to attack us with. He comes against with old things, ways, and habits that are repackaged to appear to be different. As the bible says, there is no temptation that has taken you but such is common to man. In other words, it is not a new trick he is using. He is just using a different strategy.

If you were the enemy and your mission was to bring you down how would you do it? Keep in mind that most people will tend to repeat old things rather than something new. The old habits are familiar and there is a sense that one can overcome them or...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. As I have shared with you all a few times here, when I have long drives I like to listen to God while I drive. No radio, no music, or anything else. Just listen to voice of God. I always tell people who travel across the United States that there are more rural places than there are cities. When you are driving you get to really take in just how big the countryside is. There is also something else you will discover as you travel from urban and built up areas to more rural areas. You will notice that life slows down and people tend to appreciate the moment more.

Most of you who are reading this are probably constantly busy. There's nothing wrong with that when life dictates that you ...
