Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Sometimes in life you have to know how to just hit the reset button. That's right, you have to be willing to just start all over. It does not matter how far you have progressed or what you may have to give up. There are times in your life when you will have to learn how and when to cut your losses in order to make progress. This is not popular and it will not make you do cartwheels but it will take you further than where you currently are.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. After our service to today I was talking to one of our Deacons while we waited for everyone to wrap some things up. We began to talk about giving God what He wants versus us trying to give Him what we want. We began to discuss some of the conflicts that come from that and while talking the Lord began to speak that our conversation would be the word for this week so here we go.
Let's be clear on something first. Most people deep down want to give God their best. They are clearly aware of all He has done for them and truly see it as the least they can do. Welcome again to this week's word for the week. This is the time of the year when in the natural sense we begin to see evidence of the seasons that are shifting. We can clearly see that we are progressing from summer to fall. There are numerous things to see around as proof so it leaves us little reason to doubt that a new season is upon us. This is easier to see in the natural sense than in the spiritual sense but it is important for us to be able to discern the shifting of one season into another.
Nothing stays the same forever even though there are things we hope never change. A new season should be met with excitement and anticipation. There is no need to be sad because we never know in the spiritual sense what the new season will ...
