We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There are times when the simple things can have the most impact in our lives. You know there's something to that statement so here we go. If God tells you to go left would you go right? If He tells you to move would you stand still? If He tells you to praise Him would you keep silent? If He says to wake up and pray would you turn over and go back to sleep?

Let's face it. There are times when God is telling us to do some simple tasks and yet we fail at them. We fail because of what we do not always understand. If it doesn't make sense there are many people who will not do it. Yet, it doesn't make sense that God saved us when we look at how we used to live. It doesn't ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I always say that God has a sense of humor. By that I mean He will literally do things at times that are not ordinary but very necessary and powerful for us. This week He simply told me to challenge His people in a simple way so here we go. Can you go one whole week where you truly give everything to God and trust Him to fix it? Be careful of answering too quickly. It's not a trick question but you have to be sure it's something you're willing to endure.

Simply put, God said to stand still and see His salvation. You've tried all of the things you know how to do. Now it's time to let God do all of the things He needs to do. Yes, there are times when we need to take the ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let's get straight to the point this week as it is less about what I say and more about what are you willing to do. You can hear fifty messages a week and say that all of them are for you. You can feel absolutely great when you hear them. You can even remember them for a day or two. The question is how are you going to apply what you heard? How are you going to live out the word of God that you heard?

The enemy does his job. He does every thing he can to keep us from walking in what we hear. There is no problem in what we hear. There is no problem about what we talk about. The problem is what we walk about. When you and I walk in what the word says it activates promises from God. The ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I realize that it's the holiday week so let's cut straight through the chase as they say. Holiday or not, God's word is always needed. By the time many of you read this we will literally be in the second half of the year. That's right, the first half of 2019 is now behind us. We are half way through another year. Where did the time go by? That's a question that's asked often but let's look at things from another perspective.

Football and basketball have what's called a half-time. That's literally the middle point in the game and it gives both teams a chance to go to their locker rooms and regroup. There are three scenarios that exist at this time....

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I rarely tag on from our Sunday messages here in the word for the week. Every now and then the Lord will direct me to do so and this is one of those moments. Today we were talking about having the peace of God in our lives. It is something that we desperately need as Christians. The problem is that it seems we have to fight so hard for it. Or do we?

Let's get straight to the point this week. We stress over things that are not worth it. We worry about what we can't fix. We panic over what we can't change. We hold on when if we would just let go so many things would be done so much faster. Let's face a hard truth here for a moment. It's not like we want to live ...
