We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I rarely tag on from our Sunday messages here in the word for the week. Every now and then the Lord will direct me to do so and this is one of those moments. Today we were talking about having the peace of God in our lives. It is something that we desperately need as Christians. The problem is that it seems we have to fight so hard for it. Or do we?

Let's get straight to the point this week. We stress over things that are not worth it. We worry about what we can't fix. We panic over what we can't change. We hold on when if we would just let go so many things would be done so much faster. Let's face a hard truth here for a moment. It's not like we want to live ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. What a privilege it is to serve the Lord. While that is still said today it is not as often nor is it completely understood. Do you know what that truly means? Do you fully grasp how serving God is a privilege and not something we just do? The principle itself is not difficult at all. We simply need to get out of self in order to understand the real meaning.

Let's take a natural look at serving and that will help us to cut down on the time this week. Imagine that you go to a place to eat. When you get there, someone is there to seat you. When they leave then someone else who is your server comes to your table to take your order. As you know, you are the one who is paying for the ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. If you could be anything what would you be? Where would you be? What would you be doing? If you know me then you know those questions are a setup. It doesn't matter what you want to be, where you want to be, or what you want to be doing. Your life belongs to Christ and not to yourself so there's no choice in the matter.

Let's go further here this week. Those are the very things saved people struggle with. They want to be what they want to be, where they want to be, and do what they want to do. We have heard countless times that we are bought with a price. The question is what does that mean to you? I'm learning as the years go by that nothing changes until we believe, ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. You will always know when you've done the right thing in life. The simple sign will always be peace. There should never be any doubt in you if you have peace. Whenever you do things the right way peace will always follow. Peace is calm, steady, and non confrontational. Peace calms anger. It takes over disagreements. However, one needs to follow Christ in order to truly experience peace. Jesus said it is His peace that He leaves with us. We need Him in order to have peace.

I won't be long this week but prayerfully this will help someone. We often hear that timing is everything and that's true. We need to be in God's timing for everything we do. When we're in His timing ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I do not wish to take up much of your time this week so I will get straight to the point and try to be as brief as possible. Be sure of your own salvation. In the midst of all of the great and wondrous things the Lord may do in your life you need to make sure that you're saved. There are times when the things are simply a way that God is showing you that He's real. Don't forget about Him above everything.

This world is full of traps that we constantly have to be watchful of. That doesn't mean we can't enjoy the things God has created. It means that we need to make sure we never lose sight of Him. The world does us no favors in terms of getting close to God. We have to ...
