Welcome again to this week's word for the week. The roadmap for your life is predetermined by God. All you have to do is follow the instructions. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God knows the thoughts and plans that He has in store for us. Again, all we have to do is follow those plans and we are sure to arrive at the destination that God has in store for us. Does that sound easy? You already know if you've lived any amount of time with Christ that the hard part on our end is to just follow God.

The summer is coming up and many people have plans for a trip. Some will decide to just take a break and not go anywhere. Either of those options are fine. There is something to be said about those who may travel not just for the summer but anytime. You have to know where you're going. Or do you? How many times have you trusted the GPS to get you somewhere you did not know how to get to on your own? You will follow every turn it tells you because you trust it to get you somewhere you don't know hot to get to.

Let's fast forward all of this with God. We make plans for our life and yet we need Him to get us there. We book the destination on our own and we still can't get there without His help. What would happen if we just decided to ask God what does He want us to do? What would happen if we didn't make any plans until we hear a clear word from Him? How far could you be if you would've listened countless times in the past? How many mistakes could've been eliminated in your life if you had instructions beforehand?

There is a point this week and it's really simple. With all of the plans you have there is a question to ask. How many of those plans came from God? The destination He has in mind is for your victory. What is your destination? Is it the same plan that God has for you? How different do your plans vary from His? What is it that really makes it hard for you to follow God? His surety and safety is tied up into you simply following Him. You don't have to do anything else but follow Him and He will literally take care of the rest. Relax and be patient is part of my point this week.

You were not created to repeat things due to failure because you were not created to fail. You were created to fulfill a promise. You were created for purpose. You were created to spark change. You were created to move mountains. You were created to change the lives of others around you. You were created to be a light in this world. You were created to be a living example to the lost. You were created to lead captives to a place of freedom. You were created for great plans by the hand of God. Do you realize that?

Our lives are shorter than what we think at times. There is window of time in which we must maximize all of the potential that God has given us. We have to move while it's yet daylight. In other words, we have to do the things we've been put here for while the light is clear and shining on the path. It is important that you and I see all things clearly. We cannot afford to be lost due to our own stubbornness. We must find a reason deep within ourselves to say yes to God and no to our flesh. I remember traveling by map. I sure appreciate GPS devices today. I remember being lost in life. I sure appreciate being found in Christ! Give that some thought for your life.

May the Lord continue to bless and keep you in His grace,
