Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, let's hit the ground running this week as I don't want to lose the thought the Lord literally placed in my spirit. There is a trial that is designed to break all of us but the Lord will show up at just the right time to uphold us and deliver us. Now give that some thought as we go forward this week. I won't be long at all. I simply need to share what the Lord is saying at the moment.

The enemy has a different trial in mind for all of us. What may break one person may not have any effect on another person. All of us are different but thankfully Our God is the same! The Lord allows us to go through things not to tear us down but actually to build us. When the enemy thinks he has us is when God shows up. We wonder so many times where is He but He's always right there. That's right, He's always right there. Even when it doesn't seem like it or you don't feel like that's how it is you need to realize God is always there.

As much as the enemy would like to break us we need to realize that God is confident those very trials will build us. Resistance is how your body gets strong. It's also how your spirit gets strong. You will never become strong until you've been through resistance. Resistance teaches us patience. Patience teaches us how to endure. Endurance teaches us how to wait on God no matter how long it may take. Giving up shouldn't even be considered an option. Yes, the enemy tries like crazy to make us quit but when God is on your side why would you?

Whatever you're facing is temporary and subject to change at any given moment. Many times we know we're at the end based on the pressure of the trial we're facing. You need to know you're close when it hurts the most. I remember an old song and the lyrics said "if He has to reach way down Jesus will pick you up." What a true statement that is that you and I need to grab a hold of. God is committed to your breakthrough and deliverance. The final question is are you committed to believing that He will do what He said He will do?

May the Lord continue to bless and keep you in His grace,
