We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Whom the Son has set free is free indeed. How many times have you heard that? It is a common passage of scripture that is often quoted and for very good reason. It is true! The question is not if it's true or not. The question is do you know what that means for you? Do you understand all of the areas of your life that are covered by that passage?

I need to get straight to the point this week. Do you realize that being free also means those areas that are strongholds in your life? It applies to those things that seem to constantly get in your way. Those things that seem to constantly be the source of your failures. Those things that seem to pull on your flesh at the very time you say ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, the new year is truly here. We are not talking about it being on the way anymore. The time is actually here now. While there is good reason to be excited there's also a good reason to be watchful. Take a look around you for a moment. Who are the people in your circle? What are some of the things you are attached to? How do those things line up with where you are headed and trying to accomplish?

In life you have to constantly evaluate things and people around you. This is not a bad thing at all. It's always good to know who and what are near you. It's important for you to know these things as they can have a big impact on where you're going. The right people and ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. As I do at times, this week will require some thought and prayer on your behalf. I won't be long because it's really not about what I have to say this week. It's about what God has to say about your life. I encourage our congregation every year not to sit down and come up with resolutions for the new year. Instead, I encourage them to pray and seek the Lord on what He has in store for them. Let's face a tough truth here. Resolutions are simply your thoughts and plans. Prayer will open you up to God's thoughts and plans. Which do you prefer?

When you go to God in prayer concerning the direction for your life it's important that you don't do so with your own ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well the new year is finally here and we are excited as always. As I do every year, I like to take a brief moment and say just a few things. There are plenty of things to be said for our theme but you can only say so much at one time if it's going to be properly received. The theme for our year is The Year Of Victory. Again, that's the theme for our church for 2019. You may go to a church and they have another theme which is all fine as that's what's needed where you go. With that in mind let me say a few things this week and be brief.

Victory is not just something for our church alone. It is something for everyone in the body of Christ. I can't tell you how many times...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I would like to start this week's word by saying Merry Christmas to all you reading this. I truly pray that you enjoy the day rather that's with loved ones or for those who may be single and spend it alone. We all know that the true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That by itself is more than enough reason to be excited for without His birth there are many things that would not have happened.

I won't be long this week because really and truly the task for you this week is simple. Take some time and reflect on what it means to you personally to celebrate Christmas. What are some of the things you really think about? What are ...
