We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Many years ago there was a saying in church that if you pointed one finger at someone else you still had four pointed back at you. The reality is there's three fingers but the point was understood nevertheless. It simply meant that before you could look at others to place blame you needed to look at yourself first. It is a very simple concept that makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

Jesus said before you can point to the speck in someone else's eye that you first need to remove the beam from your own. Again, this points to the need to examine self first. In another passage of scripture Jesus said physician heal thyself. All of this is important for this week's word ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Many of you who read the word for the week have a few things in common. You love God, you strive to do right but you realize you still have some shortcomings. That's where you are similar. Here's where we all differ one from another. To know you have shortcomings is one thing. To strive to do something about them is another. Let's get to this week's word.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let's hit the ground running this week. Our understanding of God is limited. I know there are people who insist otherwise but the fact is we have a limitation with our understanding. God does things right now that make no sense to us because some of the things He is doing are for our future. God tells us no at times with things that we really want. It makes no sense but yet it is truly for our own good. The question this week is how do you handle the unknown things in your life?
