We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let's get straight to the point this week. Let me begin by making a rather bold statement. You get out of this journey with Christ what you put in it. Really give that statement some thought. It seems very obvious and understandable at first until you really consider a few things along with that statement. Now let's get into the explanation.

We all have heard the statement that goes much prayer much power, a little prayer little power. It is a true statement by itself and it really doesn't need any explaining. It says a lot in a little bit of time. The problem is not in the saying. The problem is how the saying is taken at face value. When you have a $10 bill it is a $10 bill ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. To whom much is given much is required. A very familiar passage of scripture that most people reading this have heard. I even hear it when watching sports shows. The words clearly state the meaning and it is not confusing to understand. But, have you ever really thought about that verse in relation to your own personal life? Let's get started here for this week.

I don't ask that question from a general point of view. I ask that question from a place that requires some thought actually. Think for a moment how many ways God has blessed you. If you're honest, there's no way to count them all. When we hear people say the Lord just keeps on blessing me over and over again it is...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I need to say something this week that is somewhat of a continuation of our message from this Sunday. It is my prayer that what is said here this week will be a tremendous blessing to you regardless to how brief it is. With that being said let me get right to the point and heart of the matter this week.

Everything that God has promised you will be done. There is no need in you worrying about that. God will do His part without a doubt. The question is will you understand His will enough to know what is your part? You have the simple part. All you have to do is believe what God said. No more and no less. That sounds simple but applying it and being true to that will come at a cost.

There ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. When I was growing up I always heard people refer to what is called the crossroad of life. It's that point where you have to make certain choices and decisions. They are not always easy and oftentimes they have a serious effect on the outcome for a lot of things. The longer I live and the longer I walk with God the more I really there is not a crossroad. There are crossroads!

Life is a journey and a combination of multiple things. If you think back to before you met Christ you will realize that whatever state you were in when you got saved you didn't just get there overnight. There were a series of things that got you there. There's no better way to put it than to say a fall ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Every person should have that experience or moment when things suddenly click. You struggle to understand and then suddenly it hits you and it all makes sense. You go through various things wondering what is going on. You wonder how long your troubles will last. You wonder what it is all about. Then, without warning it all really hits you and you realize how good God truly is.

Many people spend a lot of time asking why. Don't feel bad if you fall in this category as there is a large crowd in that room. I always challenge our congregation to spend less time asking God why and more time asking Him what is it that He is trying to teach them. In other words, ask the question what do you ...
