Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let's hit the ground running this week. We are now past the newness of it being a new year. We are past the point of simply being happy it's a new year. It's now time to do some things. It's time to not simply talk about what God is going to do but it's time to do your part. Remember, we are to be doers of the word and not just simply be hearers only.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well another year is now here and we are excited. One thing we can say is that time really goes by fast. This year our theme is The Year of Sovereignty. As I usually do every year, this first word for the week will be spent putting in perspective what that word means and some things we can look forward to.
I always like to remind some of our readers across the globe that this theme is for our church first and foremost. The theme at the church you are at may be different and that is quite fine. Welcome again to this week's word for the week. This is the last word for the week for this year. As we embrace the new year that is upcoming, this is a good time to reflect on some things from this year.
