We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let's get straight to the point this week. The word for the week is anticipation. Let's say that again. Anticipation. In plain terms it simply means to look forward or have an expectation fo something. For instance, you may anticipate a certain amount of people to attend a ceremony or perhaps you're planning a trip and you anticipate you will need a certain amount of money. In other words, you're planning on something to either happen or to be in place.

Now let's look at this from a life perspective. Most people have heard numerous promises about God concerning their life. You may have even prayed about something but here's the question. Do you believe what you'...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I need to say a few things that hopefully serve as a spiritual reminder to you in the word for the week. However, there is something very important that I need to say. The reason is because there are some things in life that are not about what you hear or have been taught. They are about what you believe. That is the point here this week.

I was sitting here earlier tonight and scanning through channels for something to watch on television. There was something about the secrets of the Bible so I figured I would see what they were talking about. Over the years I've learned to take some things you hear with what they call a grain of salt. Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Many years ago a first cousin of mine was stationed in the miitary about 50 miles away from me. He said the military is the one place where you can take all kinds of various personalities and backgrounds and put them all in the same place to function together.

I learn a lot in and about life through observation and listening. Neither one of us was saved at the time he made that statement although today we both are. However, I've always thought about that statement in relation to the body of ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I often think is it harder for a person to get to a point where they live for God or to try to stay there once they get there. A better way to look at it is to say is it easier to get there or to maintain? Over the years I've had a chance to observe many different people. During that time I have learned that it varies from person to person. There are no hard or fast rules here.

This week I need to talk about something that can hopefully be a blessing to you. I'll begin by asking you a series of questions to consider. Where are you with God? Is your life in order with Him? Is it in line with His will? None of us have arrived but do you at least feel like you're on track? That ...
