We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There is one word that the Lord just put in my spirit to share with you all this week. That word is sacrifice. If you're going to see the true blessings of God in your life you're going to have to be willing to sacrifice. Sacrifice is not always about what you're willing to give up. It's also what you're willing to take on. Let's go further here.

When one hears the word sacrifice the first thing that comes to mind is what they need to give up. You can sacrifice in a multitude of ways. The truth is what you may need to sacrifice will vary depending on what you're doing. One moment you may need to give up some free time in order to spend more time with God. ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. For you to move forward in God will take some toughness on your part. You will have to be tough when it comes to the truth. Jesus said we will know the truth and it is the truth that shall set us free. Knowing the truth about something is truly the beginning of being free from what binds us and holds us hostage in the spiritual sense. Let's go further.

This week for those of us from the United States is Thanksgiving. The following day is known as Black Friday which is the "first day" of the Christmas shopping season. It is a time when most people are upbeat and generally excited. People who normally may not smile do so at this time of the year. People sit down for ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, let's hit the ground running wide open this week. I literally just heard the Lord speak and say whatever you're going through you are battle tested for the task at hand. Give that some thought for a moment. There's not anything going on in your life right now that you're not ready for. You may not want to go through it but you're ready for it. As Caleb said, we be more than able!

As we come to a close this year you still have to keep victory on your mind. This journey is a race and I'll never stop saying that. I'll also never stop saying what the bible says which is the race is not given to the swift or the fastest person but to the one who endures. Again...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. As this year comes to a rapid close it's important to realize that it's not over either. There is still time for God to do what He said He will do. This is not the time to lose hope and quit. This is the time to look in the mirror and ask the honest question of what is the holdup in your life. It's not a fun question to ask or examine but it takes you a long way.

When God makes us a promise there is a part we play in that promise. Even if we are charged to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord it does not mean we are to stop praying. Sometimes we get frustrated when the problem is we're not doing what we need to be doing. This is the time to get it together. This ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, let's hit the ground running this week as I don't want to lose the thought the Lord literally placed in my spirit. There is a trial that is designed to break all of us but the Lord will show up at just the right time to uphold us and deliver us. Now give that some thought as we go forward this week. I won't be long at all. I simply need to share what the Lord is saying at the moment.

The enemy has a different trial in mind for all of us. What may break one person may not have any effect on another person. All of us are different but thankfully Our God is the same! The Lord allows us to go through things not to tear us down but actually to build us. When the enemy ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. So many times we talk about the many things God wants to do for us. We talk about how much we're ready to see what He has in store and how much we look forward to those things with great anticipation. We name it, we claim it, and we speak it out in the atmosphere. There's one question that needs to be asked this week. Do you do your part as far as the promise is concerned?

This won't be long but it's some good food for thought. You can't take a trip unless you make preparations to do so. You can't go grocery shopping until you at least know what you need before you go. If you are planning on attending a major event you would plan out your outfit beforehand. In ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. What excites you about God? What brings you joy when you think about God? Is it things? Is it being able to hear His voice and know that it's really Him? Is it being able to go on vacation to where you want to go? What is is about God that truly brings you excitement? These questions don't have to be difficult so let's go further here for this week's word.

There is no such thing as godliness without contentment. You have to learn how to be content. This goes beyond things though. This is something that needs to transfer to our thinking and the way we carry ourselves. Let me ask you a question here for a moment. When is the last time you took time to enjoy what God was ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There is a story in the bible about a man and a woman being caught in an adulterous act. According to the law, both of them should have been stoned to death. While both of them were caught in the act for some reason they only brought the woman before Jesus. The Pharisees intended to use this moment as a trap for Jesus. They knew the letter of the law and apparently thought that they could use the compassion of Jesus against Himself. Well, it didn't quite work out as they planned and things took a different turn.

What was different is the question? Did Jesus change the law at that very moment? The answer is no. He did not change the law nor did He ignore that the law existed. He also ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. So this week will be a word of encouragement. Let's get straight to the point. There are times the enemy does everything in his power to frustrate us to the point we want to give up. He makes it seem that the sacrifices, the waiting, the faith, the trust, and the hope are all a waste of our time. The bible calls him the father of lies and it is the absolute truth.

Say this statement to yourself. It's not over until God says it's over. You've heard that countless times on your Christian journey but you have to believe it because it's true. It's not over until God says that it's over. Now think back for a moment to your dreams and visions. What's stopping you...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I won't be before you long this week as there are some things you will need to go back and pray about. Everyone of us faces trials and tribulations. So many times we simply say the devil is busy. There are times that is true. There are also times when God is trying to get our attention. We have to be honest and not religious. It is our knowledge of truth that sets us free. Let us seek the truth in our situation.

Here's the point this week. When we pray about our circumstances we usually pray that God will fix the problem. Again, there are times when He is trying to wake us up. So give this some thought. What if you stopped asking God to change your circumstances and instead asked ...
