We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let’s just jump in the deep end of the pool this week. Before some of you think we’re going to talk about something that is confusing that is not what I mean. What I mean is let’s bypass just getting our feet wet in the shallow end and let’s go all the way in the water. After all, if you’re really serious about some things this year when it comes to God you will have to be willing to be all in or nothing at all. It’s important you see your life as not having so many choices that come from you but rather being led by God.

There are some things that will not happen easy in your life. You will have to pray more than you ever thought was possible at times. ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Here we are with the first word of the week in 2020!! I'm excited about so many things I believe the Lord is going to do. I believe this year will be a great year in the name of Jesus. I believe many people will see much deliverance this year and as a result of that they will walk in much power. There is a process of pain but the end results are unspeakable gains. Let's get to the point this week.

The theme for our church this year is the year of peace. As we heard in the watch night message and today, this will not simply fall out of the sky. We will go through things as God sees fit for His plan. We will also go through them with peace. As I always say every year, the year of ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, this is literally the last word for the week for 2019! Looking back over this year I'm truly excited for countless things the Lord has done, is doing, and will yet do before this year is out. I'm a firm believer in reflection meaning I like to spend some time and just take in all of the things concerning the Lord. So, while many people are out and about this is actually the time for me to really slow down and mediate on the things of God.

Many of you reading this have faced various success and failures this year. Our theme for this year was the year of victory but even that had some highs and lows and they were all necessary. Oftentimes, we simply want to win without ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well this is the time of the year I try to be very brief as I realize so many other things are going on and there are things being prepared for. Nevertheless, there is never no time for God so let's get straight to the point this week. As we prepare for the Christmas Day celebration let me ask you a few questions for you to ponder this week as you celebrate.

What does the birth of Jesus really mean to you? I'm not talking about you simply giving an answer based on what the Bible says. I mean what does it mean to you? Jesus asked Peter who men said He was and then He asked Peter who did he say He was. This is one of those questions. What does His birth mean to you? Why do you ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There is a straight and narrow road that leads to God. There is a wide open road that leads to destruction. You have a choice on which road you decide to choose. Both of those roads will definitely lead you somewhere but either place is very opposite of the other. One will lead you to torment and the other will lead you to eternal life. Again, you get to decide which road you take but it’s important to realize that in life those are really the only roads to choose from. Let’s go further.

Let me use two different illustrations in order to make the point this week. I live in Savannah, GA. If you were to look at a map of the city you will find that I-77 is nowhere to be ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There is something urgent I need to say this week but it's not simply for this week. This is something you need to not only give some thought but it's also something you need to do everything you can to include in the rest of your life. It's called taking time to listen to God. Let's cut through the chase this week and get straight to the heart of the matter.

There are many people who say God said this or God said that. If you ask people if they prayed they will tell you yes. If you ask them did the hear the voice of God speak they will tell you yes. If you ask them what did God say you will find out that "He said" just what they were looking to hear. The reality...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There is one word that the Lord just put in my spirit to share with you all this week. That word is sacrifice. If you're going to see the true blessings of God in your life you're going to have to be willing to sacrifice. Sacrifice is not always about what you're willing to give up. It's also what you're willing to take on. Let's go further here.

When one hears the word sacrifice the first thing that comes to mind is what they need to give up. You can sacrifice in a multitude of ways. The truth is what you may need to sacrifice will vary depending on what you're doing. One moment you may need to give up some free time in order to spend more time with God. ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. For you to move forward in God will take some toughness on your part. You will have to be tough when it comes to the truth. Jesus said we will know the truth and it is the truth that shall set us free. Knowing the truth about something is truly the beginning of being free from what binds us and holds us hostage in the spiritual sense. Let's go further.

This week for those of us from the United States is Thanksgiving. The following day is known as Black Friday which is the "first day" of the Christmas shopping season. It is a time when most people are upbeat and generally excited. People who normally may not smile do so at this time of the year. People sit down for ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, let's hit the ground running wide open this week. I literally just heard the Lord speak and say whatever you're going through you are battle tested for the task at hand. Give that some thought for a moment. There's not anything going on in your life right now that you're not ready for. You may not want to go through it but you're ready for it. As Caleb said, we be more than able!

As we come to a close this year you still have to keep victory on your mind. This journey is a race and I'll never stop saying that. I'll also never stop saying what the bible says which is the race is not given to the swift or the fastest person but to the one who endures. Again...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. As this year comes to a rapid close it's important to realize that it's not over either. There is still time for God to do what He said He will do. This is not the time to lose hope and quit. This is the time to look in the mirror and ask the honest question of what is the holdup in your life. It's not a fun question to ask or examine but it takes you a long way.

When God makes us a promise there is a part we play in that promise. Even if we are charged to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord it does not mean we are to stop praying. Sometimes we get frustrated when the problem is we're not doing what we need to be doing. This is the time to get it together. This ...
