Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Trouble can be a setback or a setup. It's really up to you what it will be. I realize that may sound strange because you may read that and think you can't control what troubles you face. The reality is that you're correct. You cannot control the trouble you face. However, you can control your faith in the trouble. You can control your mindset in the trouble. You can determine if you're going to give up or stand up. Let's go further.
I won't be long as this is one of those messages that is best by being kept short. How you view the trouble you're in will have a great effect on how your faith responds to the trouble. If you go into the storm thinking it's the...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. When I first received salvation I used to hear a lot of people say that God is doing a new thing. Obviously, I did not know what that meant completely. I had an idea but I was always curious as to what that new thing was. Honestly speaking it just seemed like one of those expressions that more advanced Christians could really understand. Again, I was new in the faith and there was simply a lot of things I did not know. We all have to grow from somewhere to get to where we now are.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There's an old saying that goes no pain no gain. It simply means that sometimes in order to accomplish something worthwhile you must go through something that hurts to get there. There are times when the things that hurt the most are the things that help us the most. So, let's get into this week's word as I can't be long in order to give you time to process everything.
I realize before I even begin that some of you may tune this out as soon as you see the topic. Others will have to read it in stages and others will have to keep coming back. However, this will truly bless you if you give it some thought and prayer. In our early service I was led to pray about the voids in ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I want to start this week off by saying Happy Resurrection Day. Even though some of you may read this after what is the scheduled day the reality is everyday for the believer is Resurrection Day. Without Christ paying the price for our sins we would not be here. While I'll be brief this week it is my prayer that this point is one of power that will give you another perspective on things.
It's easy to lose focus in everyday life. It is easy to lose our focus on our spiritual journey as well. There are all sorts of things we face and deal with. There are plenty of things fighting for our time, energy, and attention. However, one thing never changes for the believers. We are saved by...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Allow me to cut straight through the chase this week. God is going to do everything He said He would do. Everything. Make sure you clearly understand that. Everything that God said He would do is exactly what He will do. Now you have a part in all of this. You need to make sure that what you hear is what God has actually said.
Many of you reading this would be quite fine if what you are waiting on right now would have happened yesterday. Sometimes it's not even about being impatient. There are times when you are just that ready. There is nothing wrong with that as we've all been there. The challenge is to believe what God is saying. Before you believe you must be sure that you'...
