Welcome again to this week's word for the week. How far you go on this journey is up to you. Let's make sure you understand what I mean by that statement. You don't control your own destiny in terms of what's in store for you. You control your willingness to be obedient and follow God. If you succeed it will be due to your obedience to the plan of God. If you fail it will be due to you deciding to do things your way.
That is not a new revelation. There is not anything deep or mind blowing about that statement. It is a simple matter of your willingness to do more than just talk about what's in store for you. Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Sometimes the best points in life come from real life examples. This week is one of those weeks. We will be talking about distractions but it is from a real situation we experienced at our church. The moral of the story is not about the situation but rather how it had the potential to be a huge distraction. Thankfully, it didn't so read on and enjoy and be blessed. Above all, find yourself in this story and see how the power of God can move on your behalf personally.
Unknowingly, we had a power surge at our church. There is a switch on the water tank that is designed to shut the system off in such an event. Well, somehow we did not know this had happened during our 8:00 service....

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. This week we will be talking about perception. I will be getting straight to the point for a very good reason. Perception in the most basic way is how you think about something or how you interpret something. It's based on your thoughts and reasonings. It could be right. It could be wrong. The most important thing is that it is a reflection of you.
