We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let's hit the ground running this week. Our understanding of God is limited. I know there are people who insist otherwise but the fact is we have a limitation with our understanding. God does things right now that make no sense to us because some of the things He is doing are for our future. God tells us no at times with things that we really want. It makes no sense but yet it is truly for our own good. The question this week is how do you handle the unknown things in your life?

Let's go a little further here. Right now we see in part. That simply means we see what we are able to or what we can handle. There are several things that can appear to make God seem complex. One of the ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let's hit the ground running this week. What is your purpose in the circumstances and situations that do not feel good? Yes, that's a tough question to think about right out the gate but give some thought to what it is that I'm asking you. With that thought in mind let's go further into our point this week.

Purpose is always easier to understand when things are at least going well. Before we go any further let's give just a basic definition of purpose. In a very basic way it means the reason for something. So, with that in mind we can define purpose as your reason for being in certain situations. To better understand that then we must also understand it means what does...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. The last few weeks we have been going through a series of challenges that are designed to make us better by being honest with ourself. It is always important to know where you are in your walk with Christ. When things come up that are for your good you do not always get a chance or have time to get things right that should already be there. In other words, you have to be ready when God shows up.

Let's go a little further here as this week is one of encouragement. I need to start by saying don't give up on God. That may sound simple but anyone who truly knows God will readily admit that is not always as easy as it sounds. We sing a lot of songs in church. We say a lot of things in ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. This week's word for the week is not necessarily about what I have to say. It's about what you're willing to look in the mirror and think about when it comes to you. Hang in there with me this week. We won't be long at all and may set the record for the shortest in length but you will have plenty to think about. Let's get into it.

Everyone reading this has a thing called past experience. It is simply a reflection of things you have gone through at various points and stages in your life. They are necessary for our growth on one hand and on the other hand they can be harmful to our growth. What does it come down to for it to be one way or the other? What you're ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There are a lot of things in life that are based on you being in position to receive or accomplish something. When you drive you have to stay in the proper lane or position in order to reach your destination safely. Failure to maintain your position can cause you to never make it to where you are going! When you go to the grocery store you have to maintain your position in the line or you will be there for a very long time.

My point in this is that there are things in life that require you to exercise patience but also to be where you need to be. Too often on this journey you will find people who "want" what God has to give them but they don't want to do what is necessary to...
