We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let's get straight to the point this week. There is no substitute for prayer. It is what connects you to God. It is how you communicate with God. It is how you grow in God and learn more about Him. It is how you take your troubles to Him. You need prayer and there is no other way to put that. Now let's go further.

You may be reading this and you may say you pray everyday. That is great and if so then we can really get to the point here. If not, then let me encourage you again that there is no substitute for prayer. Now let me share something important with you that will hopefully bless you if you take heed to it. Welcome again to this week's word for the week. The bible says what does it prosper for a man to gain the world and yet lose his soul. The bible also says beloved I wish above all things that you would prosper even as your soul prospers. So, the question is does God want us to prosper and then the next part is how do we define prosperity? Well, let's keep on reading for this week because we're not going where you may think we are.

With that in mind let's get straight to the heart of the matter this week.

Where do you think you stand with God right now? Yes, I'm asking where do you think but there's a reason behind that question. Now ask yourself where do you think God says you stand? Give those questions some real thought and let me rephrase them so no one is confused. What do you think about your relationship to God and what does God ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, we are at that point again where we are halfway through another year. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago when we were celebrating the beginning of a new year. When you really think about it you realize how fast time goes by. This is all the more reason to do what I like to call a midyear spiritual check up. With that in mind let's get to the heart of the word for this week.

Many people have no problem in starting something. Often you will discover that getting started is not that difficult. In the beginning of the year there are a lot of people with good intentions. Think for a moment of all the things you were going to do this year. How many have you done? How many ...
