We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. For the past few weeks I've been thinking about something that I want to share with you as a blessing. Over the years I've witnessed a lot of deliverance. It is always awesome no matter how many times I see it. When you witness a person's life change and they come out of something that may have had them bound for years it is awesome.

All of that is great but there is something I've really began to realize to be true more and more. Nothing happened overnight. To be honest with you, most of the things I've seen in the area of deliverance happened over the course of many years. In some cases it even seemed to take forever. We all know that God moves according to His own ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. How many times have you heard that phrase? The meaining is simple and yet powerful. It means it doesn't matter how strong every link in that chain is. If there is one weak link in that chain that determines how strong the whole chain is.

Think about that point as we get into our word this week. If the weakest link can only support 25 pounds it doesn't matter if all of the others are rated for 100 pounds. The weakest link will simply break between two strong links even if they can support more weight. Two things are now happening. The weakest link is now unable to support what it was intended to. The strong links are now unable to ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I have asked this question in a multitude of ways in the very recent past but I was lead by the Holy Spirit to ask this question again. I'm going to ask the same question but from a very different perspective. What does it mean to "you" to be saved? I'm not talking about a biblical version. I'm talking personal.

Please give some thought because if you know me then you know we're definitely going somewhere with that question this week. When you think about the fact that you're saved what does that mean to you? How does it make you feel? Do you even feel any different when asked that question? Please for your own sake don't say yes just because. Explain ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There are many things I've discovered about both life and people while being saved. This week we're going to get to the heart of a matter that can really bless you. Over time I've met a lot of people who knew they needed to change in certain areas of their life. Some have agreed they needed to change and just did while others may have struggled to get there.

That brings me to the point this week. The problem is not knowing you may need to change. The problem is in actually making the change. It's easy to look at your life and see what needs fixing. It's not quite simple to actually do those things. Many people on this journey with Christ truly struggle with ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Every week I talk to someone who has been in a situation or is in a situation where they have to trust God. Not a week goes by that I do not have a conversation with someone in that very position in life. Is that normal in the life of a Christian? The answer is yes. Is it always easy in the life of a Christian? The answer is no.

Let's face a few facts this week for the sake of encouragement believe it or not. I have had plenty of times when I wish it would rain. Sometimes it has been so that it will cool off in the summertime. Others times it has been for reasons far greater than that. However, while I may want it to rain at times I never want it to come in the form of a thunderstorm....
