We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Let's get straight to the point this week. It's not over until God says it's over. How many times have you heard someone say that? Chances are it's been more times than you can count. So let's say that again and this time let's make it very personal with, to and for you. It's not over until God says it's over. No matter how hopeless your situation may seem, it's not over until God says it's over. Now let's put that in a perspective that can help you.

I don't care who you are in life there is one thing for certain. You will face things beyond your control. It can be in the form of people or it can be in the form of circumstances. If there'...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, by now we're beyond the simple talk of being excited because it's a new year. Now is when you have to give some things some thought. So, let's do that this week. The year is here. There are new things that are now in front of you. There are new mandates that God has in store for you. There are new requirements that you must fullfill. The question is what are you going to do?

Now before you answer and say you're going to do whatever the Lord says to do I want to challenge you to be honest first. Have you already been doing whatever the Lord says to do? Obedience is not a switch that you can just turn off or on. It is a process that is developed over time. Anybody can ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. A new year is finally upon us. It seems like the time goes by fast but when you look back you realize that everything was in God's timing. This is the time of the year that many people are excited as they look forward to seeing what the plan of God will be in their lives. Trust me, there is nothing wrong with being excited so let's get into the word for this week.

The theme for our church is the Year of Reverence. One of the things I strive to make clear every year is the fact that the theme is for Holy Living Christian Center first and foremost. This does not mean that others cannot reap the blessings of that word because it is a word for all of God's people. I say that ...

Welcome to our online Bible study. For the remainder of the year our Bible study will be posted online. If you wish to go back and look at previous ones we have posted you may do so by clicking the archives link on the homepage. Before we get into this week's lesson I want to encourage you to take time to pray. Never approach the word of God without first praying. The wisdom and insight you may need is too easy to miss if you approach your time in study without prayer.  Now let's begin our lesson for this week.

I realize that it is the holiday season and many of you may be quite busy. I commend you for the taking the time to read this Bible study and hopefully you realize that through it all we still need the word of God. With...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, another year has almost come to an end. Many people are excited and can't wait to see what the new year will bring. Some are waiting to see what God will speak to them. Yet, some are anxious to just get the year over with. Now the question is why would someone be so willing to just get the year over with? Let's go further here for the point this week.

There is nothing wrong with being excited for a new year. There is nothing wrong with anticipation on what God may want to do in your life. There is nothing wrong with being thankful to live to see another year. These are very valid reasons and yet there is a problem that can be lurking. It is easy to be so focused on what'...
