We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Well, here's another week of cutting through the chase and getting straight to the point. Last week we talked about cutting out the distractions and not making any excuses to do so. This week we will go a step further so this won't be long. It takes commitment to see something to the end. You have to be committed to see things at the finish line. It's easy to get started but it's always hard to finish. Finishing takes effort but it also takes commitment.

Last week you identified what the distractions were and you made an effort to cut them out. That's a great start because it requires honesty to really look at things you enjoy and determine if you need to scale back a ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I'm going to get straight to the point this week as a matter of urgency that will bless you. Cut out all of the distractions this week in your life. Let me say that again. Everything that only serves to cause you to be sidetracked by God needs to be cut out of your life. Don't even try to make any excuses about it. Nothing moves until you speak it into existence. When you do, be sure that whatever mountain it is shall be removed.

Some of you may read that and say what you can't do. I want to challenge you that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Don't see this as a matter of if. See it as a necessity in your life. See as a changing point. See it as ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Have you ever heard that saying before? It is such a popular saying until I actually heard it many years before I was saved. It is so common until I probably heard it more outside of church than I did inside of church. Give that some thought on how many times you've heard that saying yourself. Now ask yourself a truly powerful question. What does that mean to you?

I won't need to be long this week. This will be another moment of reflection and self examination. How good is God to you? It is the equivalent of Jesus asking His disciples who do others say He is and then who do they say He is. He was literally asking them ...

Welcome to our online Bible study. My goal here tonight is to give you the scriptures along with some points for you to consider. As always, please take some time to pray first and ask God to clear your hearts and minds from whatever you may have dealt with today so that you can focus on what we will talking about here. Also, get your Bible close by because you will need it.

Let's begin by going to Hosea 4:1. We will be reading through and discussing as we go along so make sure you keep your bible by you. Our primary scripture for tonight is Hosea 4:6 which says "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing............

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Every now and then I'll think about the story of Apostle Paul and his conversion. It is truly a remarkable story and journey that he went through. I'm also reminded on just how unique his story is. Upon having someone come and pray for him to have his vision restored he immediately went out and preached the word of God. Truly amazing indeed but there's more to it when you really think about it.

Most people do not have that sort of experience. It is unique to the Apostle Paul but we must always remember something very important. Apostle Paul was well schooled and taught in the word of God. His problem was not in that he didn't know what the word "said". It is that...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. What does it mean to wait on the Lord? I'm talking about in the true sense of things when you really think about it. As Christians we've heard that saying many times and may have said it ourselves countless times. However, what does that really mean? Moreover, are you sure that you can honestly say you're waiting on the Lord? Let's go further here.

I've had some days to ponder some things and just listen to God. One of the things that He kept speaking on was what it means to wait or better yet have patience when it comes to Him. Great things that are enjoyable and that last are not always done immediately. We say we're waiting on God but do we really understand ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Many years ago a coworker and I became really good friends. We were the same age and we both were believers in Christ. Every day he would come to work and when he saw me he would ask me what's the good word for today. He knew that I studied every morning before I left for work and that I would meditate on my way to work on what I studied. I understood what he meant because he understood what I did every day. I would share the things the Lord had showed me and as the day progressed we would both get various other thoughts and share them with each other.

Those moments were truly a blessing for the both of us. He would ask the kind of questions at times that if someone didn't know ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Trouble can be a setback or a setup. It's really up to you what it will be. I realize that may sound strange because you may read that and think you can't control what troubles you face. The reality is that you're correct. You cannot control the trouble you face. However, you can control your faith in the trouble. You can control your mindset in the trouble. You can determine if you're going to give up or stand up. Let's go further.

I won't be long as this is one of those messages that is best by being kept short. How you view the trouble you're in will have a great effect on how your faith responds to the trouble. If you go into the storm thinking it's the...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. When I first received salvation I used to hear a lot of people say that God is doing a new thing. Obviously, I did not know what that meant completely. I had an idea but I was always curious as to what that new thing was. Honestly speaking it just seemed like one of those expressions that more advanced Christians could really understand. Again, I was new in the faith and there was simply a lot of things I did not know. We all have to grow from somewhere to get to where we now are.

Fast forward a few years later and one day while reading the Bible I was led to that scripture in Isaiah. There was one small detail that I never knew about that really opened up the meaning to that verse. It ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There's an old saying that goes no pain no gain. It simply means that sometimes in order to accomplish something worthwhile you must go through something that hurts to get there. There are times when the things that hurt the most are the things that help us the most. So, let's get into this week's word as I can't be long in order to give you time to process everything.

I realize before I even begin that some of you may tune this out as soon as you see the topic. Others will have to read it in stages and others will have to keep coming back. However, this will truly bless you if you give it some thought and prayer. In our early service I was led to pray about the voids in ...
