We realize that there are lines under the text and dark spaces at the end of the paragraphs. As soon as we figure out a work around we will correct this. In the meantime, we didn't want to let that be a hindrance to making the previous word for the weeks available. Thanks for your understanding as we work to resolve this.

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I am always amazed and the many ways that God speaks. I'm amazed at the countless illustrations and points that He makes. While in the middle of the message the Lord told me to tell one of the Deacons to read the first one on the left hand page of his bible. I had no idea what was there so it was literally a moment of just trusting God. One thing stuck out in particular about the passage. It talked about making space for God.

Give that some thought for a moment. Make space for God. It is not a foreign concept to us. We understand it very clearly when it comes to things in life. If you get some new furniture you have to make room for it. When I was younger only one fried of mine had ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I'm a firm believer both of and in the word of God. When it says something I take it at face value. The word of God tells us not to make plans for tomorrow or to be concerned about tomorrow for those things shall take care of themselves. The word of God also tells us to count the cost before we build. Let's get straight to the heart of the matter this week.

As we all know this year is rapidly coming to a close. We are literally in the last month of the year. It is not too late for any promise of God to come to pass. It's never too late. The things that are in store are still right there. We're going a little bit further here this week though. We are literally at that point...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Obstacles do not have to cause you to come to a standstill. They may slow you down. They may hinder your progress. They may test your patience. They may frustrate you. They may even make you weary. But they do not have to force you to come to a standstill and do nothing. Obstacles may be a distraction but they can be navigated around, over, and even through if necessary.

I'll be brief this week. We can't control the obstacles. We do not always know the reason why they are there. We do not always understand why they are there even when we may know they need to be there. That is not a typo with that last statement. Something can be in the way and sometimes all you know is that it&#...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. The last several weeks for the word for the week have been some really tough questions. If anyone knows me then they know that running out of something to say is not my reason for the shortness the last few weeks. There is a real reason for that and I would like to share that with you as look at this week's word. It is not just about what you hear. It's about what you do.

The bible tells us not to be hearers only but to be doers of the word. There is a question that one must ask when examining that scripture. Are you ready to do everything the bible tells you to do? Now give that some thought as we move to something else for a moment. If you live in the United States then you know...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. This may be the most brief word for the week ever but here we go. Are you ready to let God have His way in you? Are you ready to let go of the doubt and fully trust God? Are you ready to Lord it is all truly in your hands now? Are you ready for that vision to come to pass? Are you ready for those things you know God has spoken in your life to come to pass? Are you ready for your victory?

If you answered yes to all of these questions then praise God. Now here's the tough part. Are you ready to deny yourself to see it happen? Are you ready to completely put all of your trust and faith in God for Him to deliver you? This may sound easy this week but hopefully this will really bless you. ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There are really only two ways to live for God when you really get to the root of things. Either you're living with faith in Him or you're not. That sounds simple but it's really what everything comes down to when walking with God. You must have faith that He is who He said He is. You must have faith that He can do what He says He can do. You must have faith that He's your deliverer. You can read about Him delivering countless people in the bible but you also need to believe He will do the same for you.

You must have faith that God has saved you. You must have faith that God will keep you. It not you that saves yourself or keeps yourself saved. We are saved through grace ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. We are going to make a major shift this week with the word for the week. I'm not sure how many people this is for but quite a few of you need to hear this and I'm sure it's God speaking. Be persistent in your requests to God. When you pray mean it. Believe it. Claim it. Count it as done. Know that it's done. Be sure that it's God you will let do it. Whatever you do, be persistent.

The bible says to pray without ceasing. There are some of you reading this who are waiting on some things to happen in your life. Hear this word clearly. Be persistent in what you're asking God to do. Don't be so quick to give up. When you see obstacles and oppositions learn to look ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. I'm always excited to be saved. It is precious. It is priceless. It brings me a joy that is unspeakable. It makes me look back over my life and truly be grateful. There is a sense of peace that comes from salvation that simply cannot be explained with mere words. This is not something you can be taught. This is just something you have to experience for yourself.

So, the question is how are you when it comes to your salvation? Do you see it as the most joyful thing you could experience? Does it bring a sense of peace to you? When you think about Jesus do you find yourself in awe? How grateful are you? Have you ever sat down and just took in some of the things He has done in your life? ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. There is a phrase you've heard many times in life and it is simple. I'm blessed. You've heard that phrase when asking people how they're doing, when passing by other conversations that are taking place, and countless other times. You have heard both the saved and unsaved say those two words on many occasions. Is there a problem with people saying that? No. Is there more to it than just saying it? Yes.

We all get what most people mean when they say I'm blessed. Sometimes it means I won't complain. Other times it means everything is going good. Other times it means I'm thankful. The list can go on depending on who you ask. There is really only one major thing to ...

Welcome again to this week's word for the week. Last week we talked about the importance of believing God and getting some things in order. This week we will go a step further in the need for you to pray. Before we begin let me say something that will bless you. It assumed that once God speaks something that you will simply receive it. While that may not always be true on the part of the hearer I need you to understand something. It is assumed that you will believe because it's God. It is rightfully assumed that but the question on your part is how true is that for you?

Now, let's get into our real point this week and why what we just said needs to be established first. When the devil finished trying to tempt Jesus in the ...
